Award Category Descriptions

Cruickshank Alumni Leadership Award
This award is presented to an alumnus/a in recognition of his/her outstanding commitment and contributions to Babson College over a long period of time. The recipient shall have:
  • Demonstrated five or more years of continuous contributions as an alumnus/a volunteer for the College,
  • Exhibited exemplary leadership and teamwork qualities,
  • Acted as a role model embodying the spirit and ideals of the College.
The Richard J. Snyder Distinguished Service to the College Award
This award is presented to an alumnus/a in recognition of his/her exceptional volunteer support and contributions to the Babson community.  The recipients shall have demonstrated outstanding outreach efforts of participation, which have contributed significantly toward the progress of a Babson program, project or office (i.e., Admissions Office, Office of Alumni Relations, student assessment program, reunion weekend, career assistance, etc.).
 
Alumni Award for Distinguished Faculty/Administrator Service
This award is presented to a member of Babson Faculty or Administration who has distinguished himself/herself in service to the Alumni Association and its Alumni Community.  Although the service may take many forms, the underlying theme involves outreach efforts and assisting in the strengthening and maintenance of the ties between the College and its students with alumni. The faculty/administrator member receiving this award makes a continuing effort to remain involved with Babson students after graduation throughout their careers.
 
Distinguished Recent Alumni Award

This award is presented to an alumnus/a of less than ten years whose enthusiasm, spirit and reliable support has made a difference for the College.
 
John H. Muller, Jr. Parent Leadership Award

This award is given to a Babson parent or parents who have been instrumental in the advancement of the institution by giving their time, energy, resources and talent.  The commitment to furthering Babson and its programs is ongoing and can extend beyond the student's years at Babson.
