Babson Alumni Association: Who We Are
Mission Statement
The Babson College Alumni Association supports and unites the alumni of Babson College and the growing Babson community, while advancing the missions of the Alumni Relations Program and Babson College. The community served by the Alumni Association consists of the alumni, faculty, staff, administrators, students, parents and friends of the College.
Through the established goals and objectives of the Alumni Association, working in partnership with the Alumni Relations Program and staff, and the effective use of technology and communications, the Alumni Association is committed to:
- Fostering pride in Babson College among its alumni and other College constituencies
- Promoting lifelong affiliation between its alumni and other constituencies of the College
- Energizing the growing numbers of alumni and related constituencies who participate, and motivate each other, in active service to the College
- Advancing the reputation of the College around the world
- Delivering tangible benefits to alumni, members of the Babson community and to the College.

History of BAA
The Babson Alumni Association was formed more than 70 years ago with the intent of supporting the school to develop and motivate a dynamic Babson community. The BAA’s guiding principles are anchored in its mission statement and bylaws.
Advocating for Alumni
The BAA advocates on your behalf through representation on the Board of Trustees (current BAA President), the Board of Governors (past BAA Presidents), regular meetings with the Babson President, involvement with Undergraduate and Graduate Advisory Boards, various boards, and regular meetings of the BAA Board of Directors with alumni staff.

The BAA Board of Directors is comprised of 15 members: a 5 member Executive Committee, including a president, 2 vice-presidents, a treasurer and a clerk; and 10 directors on the main board.
