Networking Resources
Babson is dedicated to providing opportunities for alumni to expand your professional network. The College’s Career Affinity Groups, Regional and International Clubs, and volunteer opportunities provide alumni with invaluable networking contacts.
- Alumni Directory
A comprehensive list of alumni is accessible through the Alumni Directory. The directory provides contact information and allows you to search for alumni based on a variety of criteria, including industry, company, and class year. Directory information is populated by alumni. It is implied that if an alumnus/a provides contact information, he/she is open to being contacted by fellow alumni.
- LinkedIn and Facebook
Babson Community,
Babson’s official group on LinkedIn, has more than 4,000 members and is growing. It’s free and all are welcome,
including current and prospective students, alumni, faculty, staff,
parents, and all friends of the College. Babson also maintains a presence on Facebook and alumni are encouraged to participate.
- Career Affinity Groups (CAGs)
CAGs offer industry-specific programming, with each of the seven CAGs hosting one to two events per semester. Networking is a large part of these events, is built into the schedule both before and after the formal presentation. Babson staff are also on hand to facilitate introductions. Each CAG has a listserv that alumni can easily join via the individual CAG Web pages. Listservs allow for easy, group-wide message exchanges with fellow CAG members.
- Regional and International Alumni Clubs
Networking opportunities and a range of education, social and community service events are hosted each year by our Regional and International Clubs. Like the CAGs, some of the clubs also have designated listservs to communicate with the group.
- Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork (CLTP)
CLTP offers the opportunity for you to mentor and make a difference in a student's professional and academic development but did you realize that it also provides you with first-class professional development. Use this experience to make your resume stand out. While participating in the training session as well as the coaching session you will meet and connect with a variety of fellow alumni, MBA students, parents, and friends of Babson.
- Babson Alumni Resource Network (BARN)
BARN is a Babson College alumni volunteer resource organized to transfer entrepreneurial experience, business knowledge, and practical advice from Babson alumni to Babson alumni.
