A. Please contact Alumni Relations at alumrel@babson.edu or 781-239-4562 and we will assist you in retrieving your Babson login information.
Q. How do I update my password?
A. Your password may be managed through My Profile. Go to the My Community drop down menu and select My Profile. Select the Account tab at the top of the page. Go to Manage Password Now. Follow the prompts accordingly and your password will be updated.
Q. How do I update my contact information?
A. This information may be self-managed through My Profile. Go to the My Community drop down menu and select My Profile. Once there, use the tabs on the top of the page to move around throughout your record. Update your information as desired and be sure to set which information you’d like to make viewable to the Babson community by checking the boxes to the left of the information entered. Q. If I change my personal information in My Profile will it be updated across Babson?
A. Information updated in The Babson Connection will be carried over into the Alumni Relations system which is connected to most mailings and communications sent by the College. A few groups or departments on campus manage their own lists and will therefore not receive your updated information. We encourage all Babson affiliated departments and groups to go through Babson’s Alumni Relations office for the most up-to-date information.

Q. How do I search the directory based on more advanced criteria such as company, or home country?

Babson E-Mail [top]
Q. I graduated six months ago and now I can’t access my e-mail account. What happened?
A. In order to help you transition from student to alumni status, Babson allows you to keep your student network privileges, including your e-mail account, for six months following graduation. Once the six month period has ended, all e-mail accounts are deactivated and are no longer accessible. This means you will not be able to read, create or send e-mail from your babson.edu e-mail account; you will have no access to any messages, contacts or calendar items stored there.
We do our best to communicate this information to ensure that you have sufficient time to set up a new, non-Babson e-mail account, and retain any critical information that may exist in your account. You may, however, continue to use your Babson e-mail address by setting up Lifetime E-mail Forwarding which will redirect your new incoming mail to an e-mail account of your choice. Learn more about this benefit below or set it up now.
Q. What is lifetime e-mail forwarding?
A. Lifetime E-mail Forwarding is a free service offered by the Babson College Alumni Association that combines the convenience of a single lifetime e-mail address with the flexibility to choose which e-mail provider you want. You will only need to give out one e-mail address, no matter how many times you change your e-mail address in years to come. Your babson.edu e-mail address will show professional colleagues and prospective employers that you are a graduate of Babson College. Messages sent to your Babson e-mail address will be passed on by the forwarding service to whichever non-Babson account you specify, such as Gmail, Yahoo mail, or any other account you choose. You will not be able to create or send e-mail using your babson.edu address, but for receiveing mail, you will retain the address you used while at Babson.
Q. How do I set up lifetime e-mail forwarding?
A. Log on to The Babson Connection at www.babson.edu/alumni, using your Babson username and password, navigate to My Profile; this will bring you to the Member Information tab; select Lifetime E-mail Form and indicate which external e-mail address you would like your babson.edu address to be forwarded to.
You also have the option of setting up an alternative alias for your Babson e-mail address; this must be in the format of firstname.lastname@babson.edu. You may distribute this address in addition or instead of your former Babson e-mail address; both addresses will forward your e-mail to the account you’ve indicated. It may take up to five business days for this update to be reflected in your profile, however, the forwarding capability will be activated immediately.
Q. Will my e-mails be sent with my Babson forwarding address or with my personal e-mail?
A. Your e-mails will be sent from you to others using your personal e-mail address. Lifetime e-mail forwarding is only a one-way service; it is not an active account in which you can create and send e-mails.
Q. I currently use multiple e-mail addresses. Will my forwarding e-mail account allow me to forward mail to all of them or just one?
A. Lifetime E-mail Forwarding requires you to choose one address for all your forwarded mail. It cannot accommodate multiple e-mail destinations.
Q. What happens if I don’t set up lifetime e-mail forwarding?
A. If you do not configure your Lifetime E-mail Forwarding address, any mail sent to your Babson e-mail address will be returned to the sender. You will still be able to access The Babson Connection using your Babson username and password, regardless of whether you have set up your forwarding.
Q. I'm concerned about privacy. Does lifetime e-mail forwarding make my mail any less secure?
A. Absolutely not. Your mail will never be stored on a Babson mail server, so there is no added security risk when you use the service.
Q. How much does the service cost?
A. E-mail forwarding is provided free of charge to all alumni of Babson College as a gift from the Alumni Association.
